IS there something maybe I can do to check status of linkgrabber, or is there a method to have the app shut it down without actually closing the app? I am not sure what you all use not to mention I have many things locked down to avoid others getting remote control also. I am not sure if there is something also stuck in linkgrabber sometimes when I try to maybe grab one and it is actually not there in the file hoster as there are sometimes i see Linkgrabber working to parse a link and it never seems to say that it is off line or if the hoster is having problems where maybe linkgrabber is just waiting for a connection to the actual file hoster link(s)Īs for a remote session. Then went to update and got the message do you want to stop linkgrabber and I said yes.Īfter the restart I had to go back to grab the above links and those took in linkgrabber. **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** There is an update waiting to install as of this morning it looks like Sorry have had company here and their now gone so first time to get back to this. Ok happened again to day with a simple copy from an image hoster, then I tried with a few others. I'll try to remember to grab some links next time as I already updated for today's latest update its just a linkgrabber issue it seems when updates are available least what I can see or determine. it is fine then until the next update is ready and the icon flashes again stating there is an update still works while downloading so that part is ok for the downloading. If i restart jd2 without updating it takes the link or after i let jd2 update and it restarts it takes the link that was in the que also. This again is only when there is a update and the check updates icon is flashing showing there is an update ready to install. the linkgrabber never finishes or allows for any other links to be posted there.Įven if i turn linkgrabber off from clipboard and then try to manually copy in the link it also hangs linkgraber. Jd2 linkgrabber just hangs when trying to add any collecting link usually when i copy the ink and have the clipboard link paste automatically to the linkgrabber. and even with the crashes/freezes of the latest update, it's still better, I just CAN'T get my stuffs. It doesn't matter weather the link is from youtube or a picture from a web site, or a any other filehoster either. I tried SpeedDownloader, Toucan, Folx, Progressive, iGetter etc., et.al. If this is the shape of things to come for jD Please, PLEASE have the 'old' style available and upgraded. I can click the 'Make Subdirectory' box and it will add it UNDER the /downloads folder, not just open it in the downloads folder. 9 version of jD is easy and intuitive I can 'rubber band' a group of files right click and merge them with whatever name I want. Unchecking the Do not tell me about important updates I think means "Just download them and install them but don't tell me."įorce feeding us updates is no good, I'd rather use the same version that works great, and wait until the new people try them out first.Īnd I grabbed the Beta jD 2 - No, no, no, no. The problem with downloading an older version (I did) is that it automatically grabs up the updates (It thinks they are important) and that starts the cycle all over again.
